The South African put together another consistent season by reaching a career-high six doubles finals and winning more than 30 matches for fifth consecutive year...Most of success came with American Donald Johnson as they won three titles on three different surfaces (carpet, clay, grass) and qualified for season-ending ATP Tour World Doubles Championship in Bangalore...In early March, reached clay final in Santiago (w/Bale)...Following month, began European clay circuit with a title in Estoril (w/Johnson)...In June, won grass court crown in Nottingham (w/Johnson) and lost in 2nd RD at Wimbledon 8-6 in fifth set to Oncins-Suk…During summer, reached SF at TMS Toronto...Closed European indoor circuit with a 13-4 record, highlighted by title in Basel and finals in Toulouse and TMS Stuttgart (all w/Johnson)...Finished No. 23 in doubles.
